Pre-Owned Vehicle FAQs

What is the difference between pre-owned and Audi Certified pre-owned?

A pre-owned vehicle is any previously owned vehicle offered for resale. An Audi Certified pre-owned vehicle must be within the last five model years with fewer than 60,000 miles, pass an inspection of more than 125 components by Audi-trained technicians, and can only be certified by an authorized Audi dealer. Audi Certified vehicles are covered by the remainder of the original 4-year/50,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty, followed by an additional 1-year/20,000-mile Certified pre-owned Limited Warranty, along with 24/7 roadside assistance.

Can I negotiate the price of a used car?

Our pre-owned vehicles are priced with AutoNation 1Price, which means the price you see is the price you pay. Each vehicle is priced based on current market data, so you can compare options without back-and-forth negotiation.

Do used cars come with a warranty?

It depends on the vehicle. Audi Certified pre-owned vehicles include manufacturer-backed warranty coverage. Newer used vehicles may still have time remaining on the original factory warranty, which generally transfers to the next owner. For added peace of mind on any used vehicle, you can also add an extended protection plan.

How can I check a used car's history?

A vehicle history report is available for each vehicle in our pre-owned inventory and shows details such as past ownership, reported accidents, title status, and service records. You can also check any vehicle for open safety recalls by entering its VIN on the NHTSA recall lookup tool.

What should I look for when test driving a used car?

Pay attention to how the vehicle starts, accelerates, brakes, and steers, and listen for unusual noises over bumps and at highway speeds. Test the climate control, infotainment, windows, and driver assistance features, and check that the tires show even wear. Reviewing the vehicle history report before your drive helps you know what to ask about.

Why does Audi Las Vegas sell used cars from other brands?

Many of our pre-owned vehicles come from trade-ins, so our inventory includes a variety of makes and models beyond our franchise brand. Every used vehicle on our lot goes through the same inspection process, whether it's an Audi or another make, so you can shop a wide selection in one place.

Can I trade in my current vehicle toward a used car?

Yes. Your trade-in can be applied toward any vehicle in our pre-owned inventory, and we'll handle the payoff if you still owe money on it. You can get a trade-in offer online before you visit, and we'll buy your vehicle even if you don't buy one from us.

How do I schedule a test drive of a used car at Audi Las Vegas?

Once you find a vehicle you're interested in, call our team to confirm it's available and schedule a time to see it in person. Used inventory moves quickly, so we recommend calling ahead before visiting our location.
